MissJudged aka Nicola Michelle Rutherford first became involved in the music scene at the age of 16 when she landed a job as a co-presenter on an online radio station.
At the age of 18 she was heard by the Director of PureDance, a dance radio station which broadcast on Sky Digital channel 890, and was offered a show. Working alongside big names such as Stu Allan, Billy Bunter, Slipmatt, Agnelli & Nelson, Lisa Lashes & Warp Brothers her show soon became a big hit and had a huge following each week.
Sadly the station came to a close in 2006 and Nicola took a break from radio.
Nicola decided to have a go at music production and met up with Renegade DJ aka Thomas Crossley and together created their first release, a remix for Epidemic Records artist V-Star. This remix received great feedback and they went on to create a further two remixes for urban artist Simba and dance music legends Q.F.X.
In 2009 Nicola landed herself another radio show in the North East of England, this time broadcasting on FM and across the world on the web, but it has not stopped her producing with Thomas.
Together they have just launched Epidemic Black, a hardstyle sub-label of Epidemic Records and their first release 'For The Money' is due in November 2011 which features her own vocals.
It looks like there is no slowing Nicola down for the moment between Epidemic Records, Epidemic Black and NE1fm we are expecting to hear alot more from her.
